Description

Join Strong Girls United for a sports nutrition night for high school athletes (all gender) with RDN, CSSD Briana Bruinooge! This session breaks down the foundations of sports nutrition in a way that’s practical, realistic, and easy for every high school student to understand. We’ll cover how to fuel smart for long school days, training sessions, games, and recovery—plus the most common mistakes that impact energy, focus, mood, and performance.

Topics include:
• What (and when) to eat before/after practices and games
• How to build balanced meals and snacks during busy school days
• Hydration strategies that actually matter
• Truth vs. myth in the world of supplements
• Creating a fueling plan that fits your life

Students will leave with notes and resources to help them take action immediately, and parents will receive a take-home handout to support healthy routines at home.
